Under the supervision of the Head ECS, the incumbent will perform duties such as the following:

Support the day-to-day operation of NCI Academy business activities, specifically in the use of the NCI Agency project management toolset:
NCI Agency Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (MSEPM);
NCI Agency Business Intelligence tools (BI Toolset);
NCI Agency Enterprise Business Applications (EBA).
Assist with project planning;
Assist with project-related data entries, data quality assurance, and report generation;
Assist with cross-project coordination;
Act as a customer focal point, and deal diplomatically, on a variety business-related issues.
Assist with drafting and consolidation of Business Planning Group documentation and in particular Service Support Training Packages;
Assist in the management and maintenance of the Business Planning Group business intelligence and SharePoint web/portalpage.

Requirements

Required Security Clearance: NATO Secret
Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years post-related experience.
Or a secondary educational qualification with 4 years post-related experience.
At least 2 years' experience within the Project Management / Project support domain;
At least 2 years' experience in a progressively responsible project administrative support role;
Extensive experience in the configuration and use of Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (MS-EPM);
Extensive experience in the use of Business Information (BI) Tools to generate accounting and finance reports (including time accounting);
Experience in customer focused roles and customers relationship management;
Skilled in the use of advanced computer-based tools in the areas of office automation (MS Office Suite especially MS Excel);
Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to develop and set in place new processes and procedures;
Ability to take initiative and a flexible approach allowing the incumbent to respond reliably and competently to changing requirements in a demanding environment.
Desirable Experience and Education:
Extensive experience in the configuration and use of the NCI Agency MS-EPM;
Extensive experience in the NCI Agency BI Tools used to provide financial and time accounting reports;
User experience of the NCI Agency Enterprise Business Applications (EBA);
Knowledge of the NCI Agency Request to Proposal (R2P) process;
Formal certification in a recognised methodology for project management techniques e.g. PRINCE2 or PMI;
Knowledge of ITIL;
Experience in maintaining SharePoint web pages;
Experience with computer-based financial tools;
Experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements;
Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT.
